New Mexico Oil & Gas Sector Ozone Precursor Rule
After over two years in development and multiple drafts, the New Mexico Environmental Improvement Board adopted the new Oil & Gas Sector Ozone Precursor Pollutants Rule. The final rule was published in the New Mexico Register on 7/26/2022 and has an effective date of August 5, 2022.
The final rule is significantly different from the initial draft published in 2020.
